Mean, Mode and Median

The Mean, Mode and Median program aims to give the user practice in calculating these one of these statistical values for a given set of data.

The user selects the activity to practise and the range of the randomly generated values which may appear. If the user selects the Easy option the data set is presented in ascending numerical order when the Start button is clicked. If the Harder option is selected, the data is displayed in random order.

The Hint button will display information to help you compute the correct answer.

The user must type the answer in the Answer text area and click on the Done button.  If the answer is correct, a tick is displayed. If the answer is wrong a cross is displayed and the user must try again.

For each question you may score 5 points, but every time the Done button is pressed for a  wrong answer a point is deducted until there are no points left for this question.  The Success Rating displays the average score over all the sets of words attempted.

The user may use the simple Calulator provided to help with the evalation of the answer.
This is displayed when the Calcuator button is clicked.
