CrossCheck
Up to 20 words are displayed in alphabetical order at the top of the screen. Below them is a panel of text containing dashes (-----) to represent a missing word. The aim of the CrossCheck is to select the most appropriate word to replace the dashes.
At any point where a player gets stuck, he can move to the next word, and return later to the words that were difficult.
When the correct word is selected the player is congratulated and invited to move on the next word. When all the words have been correctly selected, the player is congratulated and invited to choose another set of words.
Data sets can be prepared for use at virtually any level of English language learning.
